We finally got moved into the house on Tuesday (there was a snow storm on Monday, so they postponed by a day). It was in the low 20's, and the house was SO cold having the doors open all day! We had a few challenges, but overall, the load-in went well. Dave's mom was here to help us with Nathan which was a huge help!!! We still had our corporate apartment, so they were able to spend the day there while we directed traffic with the movers.
We've been working through the boxes slowly but surely. Nathan's room is pretty well set up, but with plenty of things still needing to find homes. My dad and Emily came up for the weekend to help with unpacking. Dad and Dave spent a lot of the weekend moving things around and literally doing the "heavy lifting". Emily and I got the kitchen pretty much done and made a good start in the master bedroom.
It's been a whole different challenge being as pregnant as I am and not being able to lift the boxes - I keep having to have Dave help me move boxes around so I can get to them. Very frustrating! But, speaking of the baby...we scheduled our c-section this week - Monday, May 11 is the date - 9 weeks from today!!!
