Reunions

This year was Dave's 13th and my 12th reunion, but living as close as we do, we take any excuse to wear the orange and black :-) My dad was in town, and we all took the boys down to the P-Rade on the Saturday afternoon of Reunions. As of Wednesday of that week, Nathan began insisting that he needed a "P" hat like Daddy's, so we made a trip to the U-Store for a P hat, and, of course, a tiger tail! Nathan loved the P-Rade, especially all the bands!

Pop-Pop, Aunt Emily and I took the boys to the Devon Horse Show - Nathan couldn't get enough of the carousel. (Although apparently he didn't want to ride with Mommy - he chose Pop-Pop for his first ride and "Em" for his second ride - oh well, plenty of carousels in my future!) It was fun to hear the big "woahs" when he saw the horses (the real ones), or "neigh-neighs" as he calls them.

Recent Family Videos

For Mother's Day, Dave got Laura a "Flip", which is a pocket sized video camera for shooting short clips that are easy to upload. We hope to post short videos of Nathan and Alex from time to time, thanks to this new gizmo. Here are a couple of our first attempts. Enjoy

First trip to the pool

We've joined a pool for the summer and took the boys for a first swim. As usual, Nathan loved splishing and splashing - next time I need to remember the pool toys!

Nathan is getting more and more interested in Alex, and has started giving him more hugs and kisses. "Gentle" is a big word in our house right now.

Coming Home

We brought Alex home from the hospital on Saturday, May 9. While he was unphased by getting dressed, he was not so happy about the carseat.

When we got home from the hospital, Nathan got a present from his baby brother - a set of trucks which he was very excited about! He handled Alex's coming home very well and managed to get some good playtime in with Daddy during the day.
