Playtime...and naptime

In October, Laura and the boys went to NC to spend a week with Laura's dad (aka Pop-Pop). Here are some pictures of Alex playing...and zonking out with Pop-Pop.

5 months old

Alex turned 5 months old on Monday. What a fun little bug he is these days! Full of smiles and giggles, especially when you blow rasperries on his tummy. He's rolling back to tummy and tummy to back, and some nights is giving us some good stretches of sleep! He's dying to sit up - when you recline him on anything he pulls forward (and will tip over if you're not there to catch him!) And his new favorite pasttime is playing in the exersaucer. He discovered his feet about a week ago, so spends a lot of time playing with (and sucking on) his toes. Teething has begun - he's drooling all over the place and chewing on everything he can get his hands on...hopefully Tylenol and Orajel will do the trick! I've been pulling out all of Nathan's old teething toys and encouraging chewing on those rather than on my hands. And who knows if it will last, but the last few days he's been sucking his left pointer finger just like Aunt Emily did as a baby!

Nathan's First Day of Preschool

Nathan started preschool this fall. His first day we took him in and he waved goodbye with a smile on his face. When did our little man get so big?!?!?
